Strong Enough Girls (SEG) is an initiative that harnesses the power of women and their words to promote education, empowerment, courage, faith, and love for women around the globe. We hope to empower women, particularly young women, to identify, embrace, and utilize their physical, mental, and intellectual strengths for a better, safer, and more loving world.
This “project” is inspired by Onyinye Edeh, a 26 year old with a heart for people. Onyinye is passionate about being an inspiration to everyone she encounters, especially girls. This space is one way she hopes to spread hope, love, be more courageous as a young woman (through intentional writing), and inspire other women to be courageous as well.
As the late and great Nelson Mandela once said,
“I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave [wo]man is not [s]he who does not feel afraid, but [s]he who conquers that fear.” – Nelson Mandela
Let’s conquer our fears together while celebrating girls and women who are simply Strong Enough! xoxo
